WELCOME!
It is a pleasure for the West Avenue Church of Christ to welcome new friends to our assembly. We hope that our worship is uplifting and pleasing to God, as it is centered in God’s truth, the Bible. Our greatest joy is to lead people to Jesus Christ by following Bible teaching.
This church’s objective is to be patterned after the teaching God has revealed in the New Testament. We are a congregation with no head but Christ (Ephesians 5:23), and no creed but His Word as revealed in the Bible (Galatians 1:8-9). In coming together, we strive to " encourage one another to love and good works" (Hebrews 10:24-25). We are independent from any other group, but desire a unity of faith with all those everywhere who "walk in the light as He is in the light" (1 John 1:7). We want to draw closer to each other, to you, and to the Lord. Our aim is to glorify God by exalting Christ in our lives and by teaching others as we humbly serve Him.
