The West Avenue Church of Christ which met for nearly 60 years has sold its building to another entity and moved to Lockhill-Selma Road. The new location, home to the University Oaks Church of Christ, is found just south of Anderson Loop 1604 on the northwest side of San Antonio. We are at a new location and maintain the same Bible centered worship.

University Oaks Church of Christ continues the tradition established at West Avenue as a New Testament church. Our chief desire is to "walk in the light" and thus have fellowship with God (1 John 1:1-7). If you are interested in simple New Testament Christianity, divinely authorized work and worship, "speaking where the Bible speaks and remaining silent where the Bible is silent," you will find kindred spirits at University Oaks. If we walk in God's light together, hand-in-hand, we will be true brothers and sisters in God's family. We extend to you a warm and genuine invitation to visit with us and obtain first-hand information about the church of the Lord.
